GreenInfo Network is a non-profit organization that specializes in helping public interest groups and public agencies. Here are the reasons to choose us for your next project:
PROVEN TRACK RECORD: With years of experience in providing GIS to non-profits, GreenInfo Network knows how to get GIS projects done well and on tight budgets. We are experienced in ensuring that clients do not take on more than is appropriate to their needs, and we understand the limitations of GIS software and data.
NON-PROFITS AND NETWORKS: Being a non-profit ourselves, we know full well the pressures faced by such groups and can ensure that any use of GIS they make will be an added value, not a drain. Our work with non-profits has also created relationships with hundreds of public interest organizations, allowing us to more quickly address your needs.
PUBLIC INTEREST FOCUS: While ensuring technical integrity, we also know that non-profits are often in the business of persuasion, and we are able to develop credible and compelling images of their issues for public presentation. For public agencies, we offer not only our capacity for excellent analysis but also the ability to be quickly available and work flexibly.
COST EFFECTIVE: We’ve organized ourselves to offer very reasonable fees and work on small projects because we are committed to this end of the work. To help us do that, we get donations of some of our technology and some foundation grants that help us build our infrastructure and create general solutions that can help many groups. However, we do not work for private or commercial interests. Many of our projects are in the range of $1,000-5,000, although we do undertake much larger projects.
PARTNERS: We regularly partner with other consultants who are developing campaigns or undertaking planning efforts for particular non-profits. These include land use planners, lawyers, biologists, program planners, and designers. We welcome inquiries from consultants about teaming up on projects.
GIS TECHNOLOGY: We are able to undertake almost any type of GIS project, including those using advanced GIS analysis and data development. Our GIS technology is mostly ESRI ArcGIS products, supplemented with illustration and design software, and supported by high quality printers and plotters.
STAFF EXPERTISE: The key to all these capacities is in the skill of our staff – find out more about them.
