Client:   State of California Coastal Conservancy

When a public agency has funded hundreds of on-the-ground projects, providing access to the public to this information can be a challenge. The California Coastal Conservancy and the Ocean Protection Council asked GreenInfo to come up with a solution for showing over a decade of their work on an interactive web map.

GreenInfo built the Project Viewer, a tool designed to provide information to the public about projects entered into by the California Coastal Conservancy and Ocean Protection Council over the course of their histories.  The tool features a search interface where users can find projects completed within a selected community, or by legislative district.  Users can view project search results on the map and as a list and also toggle administrative boundaries. GreenInfo's ParkInfo web mapping system provides the underlying cartography - the search and results interface was developed with custom programming.
