In 2017 and 2018, GreenInfo built an extensive "ForestMapper" application for the Canadian nonprofit Canopy, as a tool to help education fashion brands about the importance of not sourcing materials from ancient and endangered forests. Stella McCartney's company and foundation were early supporters of that work. In 2019, when it was time for a big Paris fashion show, they wanted to highlight the Leuser Ecosystem in Indonesia with a custom version of the application.

In just a few weeks, we deployed a new version of the application, reprocessed several data layers to allow deeper zoom, and made a range of design updates to align with the Stella McCartney brand. The final site was deployed on schedule, in time for Stella McCartney's team to ramp up their social media campaign ahead of the March 4 show in Paris.
