Jennifer Strahan joined the GreenInfo Network staff in the fall of 2005, after completing web mapping internships at the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) and the US Geological Survey. While pursuing her MA in Geography at San Jose State University, Jennifer honed her interactive cartography and programming skills, experimenting with everything from ArcIMS to MapServer to Flash. She loves learning new tools and enjoys the challenge of finding the best solution for each unique project. Jennifer moved to St. Paul, MN in 2008 to escape the cold San Francisco summers and is thrilled to have summer BBQs where parkas are unheard of. She spends her free time exploring Minnesota with her husband and young daughter, building furniture, growing vegetables, and playing soccer.
