GIS Services : Cartography

GreenInfo is widely known for the quality of its cartography — from our start, we have based our work on the idea that if geospatial information is not easy to understand and compelling to a viewer, it will not be effective. We have clearly-defined and well-considered strategies we use for determining visual quality in maps, a capacity that has been acknowledged by Esri, which has asked us to do major presentations on map design and communication at its annual User Conferences over the past three years. In developing maps, we focus early on branding and organizational presence, as well as on clarifying map purposes and messages before committing major efforts to build them in GIS. We then use a wide range of highly effective cartographic techniques to achieve those aims in the visual product.
